Every Project Has a Story
Each handmade piece I create starts with a story—a moment, a memory, or a feeling that inspired it. These are the stories behind some of my favorite projects.

The Cap that Started it All
In May of 2025, I graduated as a first-generation college graduate in my family—an achievement layered with pride, perseverance, and a lot of quiet determination. Graduating with honors wasn’t just about finishing a degree; it was about opening doors I once wasn’t sure I was allowed to walk through.
This graduation cap was created as a celebration of growth and transformation—sunflowers for resilience, butterflies for change, and gold details to honor the hard-earned moment. Every piece was placed with intention, reflecting both where I’ve been and where I’m headed.
Today, I’m beginning a new chapter as a paraprofessional in the Mercer Island School District, stepping into my passion for child advocacy. This cap wasn’t just my first creation—it became the reminder that stories matter, and sometimes the most meaningful designs begin with your own.
If you’re celebrating a milestone of your own, I’d love to help tell that story.
A Banner That Reconnected a Friendship
This banner was created for a bachelorette party, but its story began much earlier—with a friendship formed during long shifts and shared moments while working at Starbucks. Years later, we reconnected when she was passing through town, and it felt like no time had passed at all.
As the maid of honor, her priority was simple and heartfelt: she wanted the bride to feel celebrated in a meaningful, beautiful way. Hand-painting this banner became my way of honoring not just the bride, but the care and intention behind that friendship.
Creating this piece reminded me that some designs carry more than decoration—they hold memories, reconnections, and moments of showing up for the people who matter most. Being part of that celebration was a gift in itself.
This piece was about celebrating love, friendship, and the joy of coming together again.
Every celebration has a story—and I’d be honored to help tell yours.
